|
| Requirements For Participation In The Programs |
The following requirements are necessary for participation in the home study programs:
1. The participant must be born-again.
2. The participant must be water-baptized.
3. The participant must be Spirit-baptized.
4. The participant must read Grade 2 English Braille.
5. The participant must have a minimum of 6 feet of bookshelf space at home to store the 14 Braille volumes of the Old Testament and 4 Braille volumes of the New Testament.
6. The participant must be willing to listen to audiocassette teaching tapes, to note scripture references and search them out in the Braille Bible, alternately pushing the "Stop" and "Play" button of their tape recorder in order to locate the scripture and then follow the discussion, respectively. The participant is asked to take the time to read the scriptures in Braille rather than depend solely on rote memory from the audio presentation, so that through touch input through Braille, and auditory input to the brain from listening, two independent senses of the nervous system are used to reinforce the information perceived by the brain and the mind. In addition, the reading of the scriptures directly from the Braille affords the participant with the opportunity to get the Word of God directly into his/her spirit by not just hearing it in audio, but meditating upon it through the Braille.
7. The participant must not use any of the home study programs as a substitute for reading the Bible. The use of the Braille Bible for study under the unction of the Holy Spirit, for this purpose alone, is important since the scripture tells us that we have no need that any man teach us, that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things. These study programs, then, are used by the Holy Spirit because of their powerful anointings, to witness to participants the truths of the scriptures that He has shared with other Spirit-filled Christians, that their knowledge and faith might be strengthened through the witness and sharing of others.

| Programs For The Blind |
|
Participants may begin at any Entry Level, depending on their motivation and previous background knowledge of the Bible. The Old King James Version Braille Bible is required for each Entry Level of study, and this and the audiocassette teaching tapes are the only materials required to learn any of the Entry Level home study programs. No other reference books are required or used for these programs. Each audiocassette teaching tape requires approximately one week completing. The participant can determine the approximate time that it will take to complete each program by the number of audiocassettes provided. All participants are encouraged to work at their own pace of learning, taking more time to study, and get the materials into their spirit, if needed.
